One of my closest friends is getting married so it’s been non-stop prep! This weekend, we had her bridal shower and next month will be the wedding so I wanted to organize all I am doing to get glam ready but, minus the toxins, of course. Normally, I live in sweats and have really let my self care slip so hopefully we can get back on track together. Whether you have an event coming soon or you just want to take better care of your glamorous self, here are the products I am using to get event ready, naturally. These are my tried and true, holy grail products!

My dress was perfectly on theme and so comfy, it’s not often that I am actually happy and feeling confident in real clothing so, it’s a big win. I also linked the shape wear I found to be super comfy as well, I just sized down a LOT. I am normally a M/L and got the XSS/XS for example and yes, I fought for my life to get it on but once it’s on, its smooth sailing and also yes, there is a potty hole for easy use lol.

Skin Prep
Skin prep before glam is a non negotiable. If your skin is dry, cracked, peeling with clogged pores, no makeup will look just right so, be sure to really invest in a pre-glam skincare routine. Exfoliate – The Eco By Sonya Super Acai Exfoliator is a game-changer for a flawless makeup application as it gently buffs away dead skin cells and impurities, leaving your skin feeling fresh and revitalized ready for glam, for me, this scrub is an absolute must 2-3 times a week. Do this before anything else to remove millions, literally, of dead skin cells! Good bye dry patches. If you have acne, opt for the Glow Juice mask instead first.
Tone – Right now, while I am healing my eczema, I can’t get enough of the Aleavia Restore Soothing Mist! It hydrates and refreshes my skin while soothing any irritation. It balances my pH and preps my skin perfectly for makeup and really helps give your skin that bouncy, plump effect. If you are not reacting to things right now, my faveee is the Eco by Sonya Toning Mist as it smells like white gummy bears and is sooo hydrating!
Under Eye Patches – The Beautology Lab 24k Gold Collagen Eye Masks are my secret weapon for those tired mornings or whenever I have an event! Not only do these hydrate the under eye really well, they also brighten and depuff. Keep them in the fridge for a bonus cooling effect. These truly make all the difference as if the delicate under eye skin is not hydrated, your makeup will crease and look sunken in!
Facial Moisture – The Om Organics Gotu Kola Cream is a must-have for pre makeup prep! This facial cream deeply hydrates with hyaluronic acid and squalene, leaving my skin smooth and plump. I like to apply a THICK layer of this before glam, letting it slowly absorb and then, by the time you’re ready for makeup, your skin is no longer parched, dry or cracked. You must let this absorb before applying makeup though or else it will slip off.
Lip Balm – Just like the above prep for the face, the Activist A.M.’s Manuka Honey Lip Balm is my go-to for soft, super moisturized lips! This lip balm is not like normal lip balms, it’s THE lip balm! It’s super nourishing and keeps my lips hydrated, thanks to the antibacterial properties of Manuka honey. Before glam, I triple layer this on and let the lips absorb it before makeup!
Cream Bodysuit – The Agent Nateur Body (Balm) Body Crème is pure luxury, the most luxe body butter balm money can buy! Packed with organic, anti-aging ingredients this body balm provides long-lasting hydration that leaves my skin with major softness and glow. Plus, the smell alone is heavenly, a total treat for the skin. Again, I lather up in this and let my skin soak it up for an hour pre getting dressed. This is a heavier balm that needs time to soak in so as you are getting glam, apply this and then wait!
Makeup Products
When I do full glam, I want products that perform and these sure do. I take all of these items and ask my MUA to use them, they have always done a great job with them since they are all very high performance.
Foundation – This rms beauty ReEvolve Liquid Foundation is my absolute favorite for high-performance glam! I apply it only to the areas that need it most and buff it out, achieving full coverage without that heavy feel. It gives me a flawless complexion with its lightweight, natural coverage. It’s perfect for all-day wear, and I always feel my best at events when I reach for this one. I am shade 11.5.
Foundation Stick – The ZAO Foundation Stick in 780 Tiramisu Tan is perfect for contouring! It adds dimension and warmth, and I love how creamy it is. It blends seamlessly and is great for touch-ups on the go. I fluff this on with the Inika Flat Top Kabuki Brush!
Concealer – I use the rms beauty Revitalize Hydra Concealer in CN07but I barely apply any to avoid that cakey look. The hydrating formula offers buildable coverage, keeping my skin looking fresh and dewy without feeling heavy plus, it comes with a super cute little paint brush applicator which makes applying it a breeze.
Powder – The INIKA Organic Baked Mineral Foundation in 06 Trust is my go-to for setting my makeup! It removes shine while providing a natural finish. I really like how lightweight it feels and that it keeps everything in place throughout the day while adding a boost of clean coverage. Be sure not to apply too much and never all over. This creates a more dry, cakey look when over applied.
Bronzer – The INIKA Organic Baked Mineral Bronzer in Sunbeam adds such a beautiful warmth to my face, it’s been my go-to for years now! It gives me that sun-kissed glow, and people love how rich in antioxidants it is while still being blendable. Trust me, this is the perfect bronzer.
Blush – The Lily Lolo Pressed Blush in Coming Up Roses is perfect for adding a rosy hue to my cheeks! It brightens my complexion, and I love how soft and blendable the texture is plus, it lasts all day!
Eyeshadow – The INIKA Organic Quad Eyeshadow Palette in Flowers has the prettiest shades that match my mauve pink dress perfectly! It’s super pigmented and made from natural ingredients, making application a dream. I typically do not love pink toned makeup but with the right outfit, this is super pretty. I also love using the brown shade from the below palette in the crease alongside these shades! So pretty!
Eyeshadow – I also love the INIKA Organic Quad Eyeshadow Palette in Sunset for adding depth to my look. The dark brown shade in the crease gives me a sultry, smokey look that’s so pretty when mixed with the other colors or the above shades. Both palettes are ones I use again and again.
False Lashes – The Battington 3D Silk Half Lashes in Demi with Invisible Band are my favorite! They’re lightweight and provide a natural yet glamorous finish, perfect for photos. At my age, I no longer want a massive lash, just a little pop on the ends and that is exactly what these are. They are also much easier to apply!
Mascara – The Eco By Sonya Mitzi Mascara holds my curl beautifully which is hard to find for someone with pin straight, short lashes! It’s non-toxic and adds volume and length without clumping, making my lashes look amazing. It’s holy grail status.
Eyeliner – The ZuZu Luxe Liquid Liner in Raven Black is fantastic for precise lines, it is hands down my #1 fave liquid black liner, plus they make various other colors! It’s easy to apply and stays put all day, giving my eye makeup that flawless finish.
Brow Pencil – The Plume Nourish + Define Brow Pencil 2- Ashy Daybreak is perfect for shaping my brows. It creates a natural finish and feels great knowing it’s packed with nourishing ingredients. This is my top pick for brows because it’s fool proof to apply.
Lip liner – The Gabriel Cosmetics Lipliner in Chestnut is a must as it is the perfect mauve brown shade, I am obsessed! It glides on smoothly and prevents feathering, making my lips look perfect all day. I love to heavily line with this and then pop a lighter shade on in the center for an ombre Kim K. sexy lip!
Lipstick – The Lily Lolo Vegan Lipstick in AU Naturel is my go-to for a soft, natural lip color… the perfect pale nude for pairing with the above liner! It’s nourishing and keeps my lips hydrated while delivering beautiful color payoff.
Highlighter – The rms beauty ReDimension Hydra Dew Luminizer in Prosecco Fizz gives me such a radiant glow, again, this is my go-to, top choice for a stunning highlighter! It’s also lightweight and hydrating, which is perfect for days where you want some shine without the weight.
Hair Care
Healthy, well groomed hair can really add to your look which is why I am sure to take care of my hair year round. I will link the products I use to wash and style my hair, all non-toxic!
Hair Shampoo – I washed my hair with the Fail Volume Shampooand it adds so much body and lift! People love it because it cleanses without stripping natural oils, leaving hair feeling refreshed and voluminous.
Conditioner – I followed with the Under Luna Revive Conditionerand it deeply nourishes my hair. Its creamy texture detangles and hydrates beautifully, making hair soft and manageable plus it smells like fresh Jasmine!
Detangles – I used the Rahua Hydration Detangler to effortlessly detangle my hair and protect it from UV damage. People love its lightweight formula that provides moisture without weighing hair down. This is a go-to, holy grail item for me, all of these items are actually.
Heat Protectant – Before styling, I applied the Rahua Heat Protective Shield to safeguard my hair from heat damage. It keeps my hair shiny and smooth, and everyone raves about how well it works! Protecting my hair from heat damage is a must to keep it as healthy as it can be.
Volume Foam – For added volume at the roots, I always reach for the Yarok Feed Your Roots Mousse. It gives me fantastic lift without making my hair feel stiff or crunchy! If you have fine hair, this is a must for me always! Not sure!? Try the mini form! If I do want a hair spray, I will use the Yarok Hair Spray which actually works really well but I prefer a more silky, soft curl usually.
Curling – I curled my hair for that extra texture and bounce. I used a 1 inch curling iron, curling all the same direction, away from my face. The smaller curling iron helps my curls hold longer and better. To see the exact blowdryer and curling iron I use, click here.
Shine Oil – Finally, I finished with the Rahua Color Full Glossing Oil Mist for a gorgeous shine and hydration. I don’t use hairspray because it makes my hair tangly, so the oil is perfect for keeping it smooth and shiny without any stiffness!

Sunless Tanning
This is a great tip because you can not only get a super clean, Organic tan but… you can do it at home and it’s flawless! Simply get my favorite tanning solution, the Eco Tan Spray Tan Solution and then, get this Spray Tan Gun and boom, you’re done. Be sure to exfoliate first, and apply a super rich barrier cream to feet, ankles, knees, elbows and hands for the cleanest, best sunless tan around! A must for your next vacay or event!
