Ready to switch up your manicure routine? This simple nail art uses two beautiful new colors Midnight Red and Gold Foil.

The deep, almost black nail color can be used for a very dramatic manicure or as an accent for Art Deco-inspired nails. The Gold Foil is a beautiful metallic great for sparkling accents or as an opaque all over color.

For a unique but easy nail look, here’s a tutorial for vintage-inspired Mountain Nails.

Materials Required

Step 1 – Base Coat

Apply one coat of Smoothing Base Coat. This will make the manicure last longer and give a healthy dose of nutrients to your nails.

Step 2 – Apply Gold Mountains

Apply Gold Foil to form “mountains.” Use the shape of the brush to help you create the “mountains.” Start halfway down the nail, let the tip of the brush form a curve, then draw the brush straight back. Repeat this to form the “mountaintops.” Let dry completely before the next step.

Step 3 – Apply Midnight Red Mountains

Repeat the previous step with Midnight Red. Let a bit of the gold show through the Midnight Red “mountain” shape.

Step 4 – Apply Quick Dry Top Coat

Apply one coat of Quick Dry Top Coat.

Step 5 – Admire Your Beautiful Nails

Admire your beautiful handiwork and unique manicure!
