The French manufacturer of health, beauty and food supplement products is joining forces with the Fairglow Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) platform, dedicated to the cosmetics industry. ANJAC thus becomes the first CDMO to adopt this analysis platform in order to deepen and accelerate the environmental assessment of its products and manufacturing sites.
Founded by a multidisciplinary team of French-American researchers, the Fairglow platform makes possible the complete evaluation of entire product portfolios in a few weeks while traditional approaches remain limited to complex one-off analyses.
By combining environmental sciences, LCA modeling, AI and an expert reference database of cosmetic ingredients, Fairglow intends to respond to a dual key issue in cosmetic Life Cycle Analysis (LCA): the dispersion of product data and the lack of reliable environmental data on ingredients. Its platform automates the collection and enrichment of data and is based on a proprietary database of emission factors, making it possible to quickly and reliably evaluate complete product portfolios, in accordance with ISO standards.
More than 2,700 references evaluated in 2025 at ANJAC
ANJAC initiated this collaboration in 2024 with a pilot project at its Roval production site in Normandy. The system was extended to the Eurowipes, Chemineau and Sicaf sites in 2025, and will be deployed on four additional sites from January 2026. All data transmitted is anonymized and processed in a highly secure environment, in compliance with the requirements of ISO 27001 and SOC 2. In total, more than 2,700 references were analyzed at ANJAC in 2025, a volume expected to increase with
continued deployment.
By partnering with Fairglow, ANJAC is able to assess the environmental impact of an individual product, a complete range and a production site. Thanks to the platform, ANJAC also offers modeling capabilities to measure the potential impact of a change in ingredients, packaging or manufacturing process in order to help companies evaluate their eco-design choices.
« Innovation at ANJAC is a global approach, integrated at all levels of the company. It is embodied in concrete solutions, designed to respond to the challenges of health, sustainability and industrial performance, while supporting our customers in the creation of their products. Thanks to this partnership with Fairglow, we have a concrete tool to better manage our scopes 1, 2 and 3 and integrate LCA from the product design phase. This is a notable lever for accelerating the transition towards a more responsible industry, for ANJAC and for our customers. », declares Anne Rutigliano, Marketing and Innovation Director, ANJAC Group.
