THE WHAT? Amorepacific Group reported first-quarter 2026 revenue and profit growth, supported by strong derma skincare performance and international expansion.

THE DETAILS The company posted revenue of KRW 1.227 trillion (+5.0% YoY) and operating profit of KRW 137.8 billion (+6.9% YoY). Growth was driven by derma brands including AESTURA, COSRX, ILLIYOON and IOPE, alongside expansion in North America via Amazon and strong performance in Japan from brands such as LANEIGE and HERA.

Its core subsidiary, Amorepacific, delivered revenue growth of 6.4% and operating profit growth of 7.6%. Domestically, revenue rose 9% and operating profit surged 65%, supported by strong luxury gifting and channel performance. Overseas revenue increased 6%, with double-digit growth in Western markets and APAC, though operating profit declined 18% due to increased marketing investment and continued restructuring in China.

Key highlights included triple-digit growth for AESTURA in North America, COSRX returning to growth globally, and LANEIGE strengthening its position across Japan and APAC. Meanwhile, some smaller subsidiaries saw declines due to offline channel restructuring.

THE WHY? The results reflect Amorepacific’s strategic pivot towards high-growth derma skincare, global channel diversification and digital expansion, while continued investment in international markets and restructuring efforts impact short-term profitability.
