What a night, hosting and producing Patricia Field’s 80th birthday! And did I mention it was a surprise? (No pressure).

The celebration took place at the Lower East Side Speakeasy Space, Fig 19where we took over the gallery space and cocktail bar.

It was an incredible evening filled with an iconic fashion scene, from Fern Mallis, Kelly Cutrone, Miss J, The Blonds, Orfeh, Robert Verdi, Daphne Rubin-Vega, and Anthony Haden-Guestto Leah McSweeneyamong many others, who stepped out to SURPRISE the legendary costume designer.

There’s no denying Patricia Field’s contribution to the fashion industry, the Emmy award-winning, Oscar-nominated, Costume Designer behind Sex and the City, Devil Wears Prada, Emily in Paris, Ugly Betty, and countless more, she has changed the industry forever and at 80 years old is actively still working and currently wrapping season 2 of Run the World.

While her birthday was on February 12th, between the weather, fashion week, and her work schedule and pandemic restraints her team and I wanted to wait and plan a surprise party. With 80 being such an incredible milestone and with so many wanting to celebrate her spring seemed like the perfect timing. And we pulled it off…

“What a surprise this was for me, unbelievable! I’m so happy and I hope you’re all as happy as me” – Patricia Field said while addressing the audience at her party.

Held at the legendary LES’ chandelier-lit cocktail bar Fig 19 and hosted by myself, Pretty Connected’s, Lara Eurdolian, and her documentary team, guests enjoyed specialty cocktails from Curamia Tequila, Kastra Elion Greek Vodka, blended with Q Mixers, Le Coqtail, Bev,  and Bronx Brewery.

Custom pizza pies by Williamsburg Pizza spelled “Happy 80th” and “Pat Field” while Moet crystalized personalized bottles in honor of the birthday queen.
